žIn July of 2009, Facebook reported that they had 250 million users and by February 2012 it had grown to more than 845 million active users. Users spend more time on Facebook than they do any other website and it has become an important way for brands to connect with their customers.
žThe intent of the Amazon.com Facebook page is to connect with customers, entertain them, and sometimes to help them find products.
žNot every post is selling something directly, some are engagement focused.
But because some of the posts do act as advertisements for products, does that make everything Amazon does on the page commercial use?
Some current case law would suggest there may room to consider some of the posts made as editorial speech and not commercial.
